Safeguarding officer for adults and children
Philippa Dawson
At St Margaret’s Community Church, we do our utmost to ensure that everyone in, and visiting our community, is kept safe. All staff and volunteers working with children and adults at risk must undergo the safer recruitment process and an enhanced DBS disclosure. We also expect them to be fully conversant with the safeguarding policy.

As a church, we have adopted the Church of England's safeguarding policy 'Promoting a Safer Church' which can be viewed HERE

The PCC has agreed on this policy statement.

Please contact Philippa Dawson - email HERE if you have any concerns or queries about children or adults in the church, either that they are suffering harm, or are causing harm to others. To report concerns please download, print and fill out this recording concerns form which can be viewed HERE.
